Magnificent terrace in the heart of the Grund and Italian brasserie

Located in the heart of Luxembourg's picturesque Grund district, Sazio restaurant offers a diverse menu of Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Inside, the atmosphere is incredibly warm and elegant, while outside, the terrace is sublime and perfect for sunny days... It's definitely one of the most beautiful backyards in Luxembourg City, in our opinion! As for the menu, you'll discover a generous selection that showcases revisited traditional recipes: artisanal pizzas, tasty antipasti, Italian dishes... Modern Italian cuisine served in a place steeped in history, in the heart of charming old walls. A little historical tidbit: This centuries-old building housed an officers' casino and a billiard room as early as the 19th century. The site also features a statue of Napoleon, which has had several lives: destroyed, replaced, moved, and then reinstalled over time. An unusual legacy of a former distillery once nicknamed "Napoleon's House"—an ironic twist, given that it now stands on a site once frequented by his Prussian enemies!
