On the occasion of its future entry into the Mudam collection, the work i am happy to own my implicit biases (malo mrkva, malo batina) (2018-2020) by Nora Turato is exhibited from November 19, 2022 to May 4, 2023 , in the Foyer on Level -1 of the museum, echoing the presentation 25 years of the Mudam collection.
Nora Turato (1991, Zagreb) is known for her spoken performances, her artist's books, her videos which give a large place to text and painting. Drawing on her experience as a musician and her training as a graphic designer, she sews together words and phrases taken from the media and her own private conversations, thus forming the epic "scripts" of her performances or her typographical works borrowing various means and supports. . Her work is interested in the volatility of language, which she accentuates by ear through the modulation of her voice or by eye by giving it a graphic form.
