Guided tour - Printing Museum in Grevenmacher
This Sunday afternoon, let a qualified guide take you on a tour of the fascinating world of printing illustrated in the exhibition 'Gutenberg Revisited'.
Our guides speak German, French, Luxembourgish, and English, catering the tour to the best-suited language for the attending audience.
The exhibition:
Spanning across two floors, the history of letterpress printing from the pre-Gutenberg period to the present is presented clearly and comprehensively. The centerpiece is a timeline featuring many new objects. Visitors can print a souvenir on a historical hand press. Additionally, a second hand press with a fun design invites younger guests to try printing. Both designs change monthly, and the printed cards are free of charge.
Explore the new accompanying booklet, 'Gutenberg & Dieudonné for Kids', with fun puzzles, accessible information, and playful learning activities, as well as a delightful backpack containing small items for kids (pencils, colors, and notebook labels).
Embrace the museum's motto: "Print is alive."
