This exhibition, the result of a partnership between the Moselle Department, the Aubechies Archeosite, and the Celtic Museum of Libramont (Belgium), immerses you in the deep relationship between the Celts and this animal, essential to their culture, daily life, and mythology. For nearly 2,500 years, the horse occupied a central place in Celtic society. Through recent studies and numerous archaeological testimonies, the exhibition reveals how the Celts understood this animal and the role it played in their beliefs, their warrior practices, and their daily lives.
