Regular guided tour: Welcome to the Villa! (3)
The exhibition provides a glimpse into Luxembourgish art from the classical modern era to the turn of the millennium. It features works by the "secessionists" Kutter, Rabinger, Schaack, and Klopp, as well as creations by Ernest Wurth and Adrienne Baudoin-d’Huart. The post-1945 period is represented with diverse works such as paintings by Henri Dillenburg, Nico Thurm, and Wil Lofy, collages by Roger Bertemes, and sculptures by Pit Nicolas. The 1950s/60s saw an increasing presence of female artists like Jacqueline Hentges or Coryse Kieffer. Finally, contemporary paintings and graphic works by Moritz Ney, Marie-Paule Feiereisen, and other artists complete this collection.
