ALEGRÍA - LUXEMBOURG

At Alegría, the little Breton girls sway over the pancake maker: never identical, but always to die for 😋

Carole Lesquer, the chef, is half-Breton, half-Spanish, and it shows in her creations: a subtle blend of roots, sweetness, and sunshine. Her motto? "Without fuss, without frills." 🧑🏻‍🍳

Every first Friday of the month, from 7 PM in Luxembourg City, it's Breton crepes and galettes nights. A gourmet break with savory buckwheat galettes and sweet crepes, prepared Breton-style, with that little something extra ✨

The little crunchy info? Carole Lesquer was named “Pastry Chef of the Year” Gault&Millau 2021!

📍Alegría, 19 Rue des Capucins, Ville-Haute Luxembourg - LU

📆 Every first Friday of the month, from 7 PM (The next party will take place on February 6th!)

COSY CRÊPES & COFFEE - METZ

If you wander around the center of Metz, take a break at Cosy Crêpes & Coffee: here, the crêpe is queen 👑

On the menu, you'll find savory Breton galettes, made with local buckwheat flour, and sweet crepes! You choose your toppings, you savor them... and you leave with a smile (and maybe a bit of whipped cream on your nose) 😄🍦

Alright, we keep talking about crepes, so we're going to take a tiny break (gourmet, of course). The crêpe is the star... but its understudy isn't bad either! So, if you have a little room left, we highly recommend trying their heart-shaped waffle, "grandmother-style", ultra indulgent and ultra melting.

And between us, isn't it a brilliant idea for Valentine's Day?“My love, I offer you my heart”… but with a good amount of sugar, it makes it even more delightful ❤️

📍Cosy Crêpes & Coffee, 6 Rue Fabert, Metz - FR

📆 Open every day from 11 AM to 9 PM and even until 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays

I WANT MY SUGAR FIX

For those who don’t have the time but still want to treat themselves, you can order online at MyBrunch.

On the menu: gourmet Kinder Bueno crepe, gourmet red fruit crepe, gourmet chocolate crepe... or even gourmet caramel crepe!

You choose, you get it delivered... and you can even tell Mother-in-law that you made them yourself 😉

Well, otherwise, you can also make them yourself, the crêpes! As we say where I'm from:

"Vous avez de la pâte ? Vous avez du suc' ? Alors avec la pâte, vous faites une crêpe pis vous mettez du suc' dessus !"
