Flip-flops are out, and so are the deckchairs! Until September 6, Les Frigos once again transform a former cold-storage warehouse into a little summer village, tucked away in Metz between the Seille and the Porte des Allemands.
No fuss here: settle down under the trees, grab a bite from the food trucks, raise a glass of local beer and enjoy a programme that changes throughout the summer. Craft markets, concerts, DJ sets, workshops, shows for children… every visit may have its own little surprise 🍹

As the week goes by, the venue’s atmosphere changes: concerts, music quizzes and karaoke nights liven up the evenings from Thursday to Saturday, while Sunday invites you to take your time in a guinguette-style atmosphere, with your feet in the sand and your head on vacation.

Crates, planks, bricks, wheelbarrows… Here, you don’t need the latest screen to keep children occupied: a few materials, a little freedom and voilà—a cabin appears!
In this safe space designed for little hands, everyone moves at their own pace, experiments, builds and invents their own adventures.

SUMMER OP DER GËLLE FRA: THE GREAT SUMMER SPOT TO CHILL, PLAY AND DANCE
Until 13 September, the Summer op der Gëlle Fra sets up its deckchairs and summer atmosphere right in the heart of the city, on the Place de la Constitution. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of one of Europe’s most beautiful balconies.
What’s on the programme: live concerts, DJ sets, food stalls, a cocktail bar, a beer bar, pétanque, an open-air library, as well as two rides for your kids, the “Kettenflieger” and the “Circus Express.”
Between two games of pétanque and a few bites, we settle in, listen to music and, above all, enjoy ourselves. Because a summer without an aperitif with a view is a bit like ice cream without a cone: possible, but frankly a shame 🍹☀️

It’s impossible to talk about the end of summer in Luxembourg without mentioning the Schueberfouer!
From August 21 to September 9, as it does every year, the great funfair will transform Champ des Glacis into a joyful whirlwind of lights, rides and treats 🎠
Across its 4 hectares, people come to get their dose of thrills, try out the rides, wander among the stands and, above all, bite into the must-try Gromperkichelcher, those deliciously crispy little potato pancakes. Yesssss, so cruncheeeey!
And to finish in style: on the last day, the rides are half-price until 8 p.m., before giving way to the grand fireworks display at 10 p.m. ✨
