NOCTURNES DU TERROIR: THE GOURMET MARKET OF SIERCK-LES-BAINS

On Friday, August 7, head to Sierck-les-Bains for an evening filled with the aroma of local products, large tables, and the joys of summer!

At the Place du Marché and Parc Valette, discover the specialties of 60 local producers to taste on-site or take away. The little extra? The park transforms into a giant picnic: take your blanket, settle under the trees and enjoy a gourmet moment in a green setting.

For 14 years, the Nocturnes du Terroir have celebrated authenticity and conviviality, attracting thousands of visitors every year. A beautiful summer evening to share with friends or family, between gourmet discoveries and a rustic atmosphere.

Exceptionally closed roads await you to pedal smoothly through Clervaux, Kiischpelt, Troisvierges, Weiswampach, and Wincrange.

SOLAR ECLIPSE DAY: THE SUN PLAYS HIDE AND SEEK

On August 12, head to Ettelbruck to attend a spectacle as fascinating as it is rare: a partial solar eclipse 🌞🌘

On the program: scientific workshops for the whole family, safe eclipse observation, followed by an evening under the stars. And since learning builds up an appetite, food trucks will be there to treat everyone.

A free day where science becomes magical, where we look up to the sky and remember there are still plenty of incredible things right above our heads.

Behind this day with our heads in the stars? Nightwise and UniPop, accompanied by the Luxembourg Science Center and the Luxembourg Research Hub, with the support of the City of Ettelbruck and the complicity of Eldoradio 🌙

On the program: over 40 concerts from local and international artists, DJ sets on the terrace, and a healthy dose of musical discoveries. Between rock, sound experiments, and new talent, get ready to fill up your back-to-school playlists.

FÊTES DE LA MIRABELLE: METZ CELEBRATES ITS FAVORITE FRUIT

From August 21 to 30, Metz celebrates its favorite little golden fruit with the unmissable Fête de la Mirabelle! 🍑✨

First meeting at the Esplanade, the weekend of August 21 to 23 with the traditional crowning of the Mirabelle Queen, the grand Flavor and Arts Market (over 80 stands), a mirabelle pie contest, a tavern where you can linger (because a summer without an aperitif is like a pie without mirabelles...), games, and animations.

On Saturday, August 29, head to the Plan d'Eau for the Grand Evening of the Mirabelle! 🎶 On the program: concerts, DJ sets, the talented Benjamin Biolay on stage, food trucks, refreshment stands, and a spectacular fireworks at 10:30 p.m. on the theme “Brazilian Symphony” 🌊✨

The festival continues on Sunday, August 30 with the Mini Guinguette, local produce stands, food trucks, shows, concerts, and a grand nautical parade on the theme of the Amazon 🌿

A gourmet and festive weekend where Metz celebrates summer as we love it: with music and plenty of mirabelles!

MONTGOLFIADES: THE SKY OF METZ TAKES ON COLORS

Who says summer in Metz, says Fêtes de la Mirabelle… and who says grand finale, says Montgolfiades! 🎈✨

From September 3 to 6, head to the Plan d'Eau de Metz to admire the hot air balloon flights and an aerial show full of gentleness and colors. A magical moment that will enthrall young and old alike… looking up towards the clouds ☁️

The take-offs occur each day around 6:30 PM (and at 6:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday for the early risers!).

Organized with the Association des Pilotes de Montgolfières de Moselle, the Montgolfiades have become an unmissable event at the end of summer.
