Hiking and history

The happy team offers you a great historic walk, quite easy and wooded on Mont Saint-Quentin, in Metz. Perfect for getting a breath of fresh air, just a few steps from the hustle and bustle of the city. The average duration is 3h15 and the distance is around 10km. For this walk, you must park at the Col de Lessy car park. Then, take Rue des Carrières to head towards the first path which goes up on the right next to the red and white barrier. Now all you have to do is continue straight ahead and cross the bastioned entrance to the fortified group. This is the opportunity to discover all the fortifications that litter the route, such as the numerous remains of forts and casemates.
