Formed in Tottenham in 2016, Body Horror emerged at the heart of London’s rave and post-punk scene. The band quickly stood out for its bold fusion of post-punk and rave influences, drawing as much from The Prodigy's electronic fury as from the chaotic darkness of The Birthday Party. Led by the powerful voice of Welshman Gethyn Thomas, the group blends industrial beats, sharp guitars and raw energy. Their abrasive sound quickly earned them a loyal fan base. Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 6) describes them as “hard, rhythmic and electro post-punk – a wild New Order-like soundtrack, topped with an irreverent sneer.”
