The Happy Team makes you discover a magical place, at the gates of Metz: the fruit gardens of Laquenexy!

With more than 21 equally flowery gardens, from fruit trees to chewable flowers (yes, yes, edible flowers!), there is enough to awaken all the senses of young and old nature lovers alike. Nothing better than coming and strolling for a few hours among the different colors and smells of the green spaces of the place!

You can even come and tickle your taste buds at the teahouse, which offers you small sweets and drinks from local producers. You can even enjoy the juices directly squeezed from the garden.

If you have a green thumb, you can stop and do some shopping at the "Boutique du Jardinier": plants, garden tools, outdoor decorations, homemade brandies, local and garden produce...

The little extra? If you want to know more about the gardens, you can take part in their guided tours.

Ah yes, we almost forgot! They regularly organize courses and workshops for children, but also for gardening enthusiasts!

Good to know

The gardens are open from April 1 to October 30, 2023. Wednesday (Wednesday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) to Sunday (Saturday to Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) last entry 1 hour before closing.
Closed Mondays (except Easter Monday and Monday October 30) and Tuesdays as well as May 1.
The teahouse is open from 10:00 a.m. until 15 minutes before closing.
