"welcome to the Villa!" Recent acquisitions and donations With the aim of continually expanding its collections, the basis of which dates back to the legacies of three major bourgeois collections of the 19th century, the Villa Vauban regularly acquires works of art and continues to receive numerous donations. The exhibition presents around fifty paintings, engravings, sculptures and photographs, from the 17th to the 21st century. The subjects present in the exhibition are genre scenes, landscapes, still lifes, portraits (of children) and self-portraits (of artists), animals, saints and biblical scenes.
