With its CeCiL's Box project, the Cercle Cité welcomes creations in one of its windows on rue du Curé; this project aims to present varied and original interventions to the public, it is also a way of supporting local creation by offering visibility “on the street” to guest artists. Dictated by the window space, these interventions are visible 7 days a week, day and night.
The 28th intervention is entrusted to the graphic designer Miriam Rosner aka MONOGRAM and is entitled “My Dream Walked On Four Legs - My Dream Pushes Air” (My dream walked on all fours - My dream pushes the air).
"My Dream Crawled - My Dream Pushes Air" is inspired by "The Coahoma County Wind Cults" by David Berman, author and musician from Williamsburg, Virginia, who is became a cult figure in indie rock with his band Silver Jews, before killing himself in August 2019.
The creative process very often begins with a blank page - an empty space - before the flow of inspiration arrives. In a relatively direct way at first, before becoming slightly bizarre, evoking an "absurd landscape". The artist himself may be gone, but his words remain.
