Dr Petra Lindemann-Matthies is Professor Emeritus of Biology and its Didactics at the Karlsruhe University of Education. She studied biology and geography to become a secondary school teacher and worked as a teacher for six years. She then completed her doctorate and habilitation at the University of Zurich.
