Dive into your history!
Discover the Archaeological Museum of Audun-le-Tiche
Housed in a former deconsecrated Protestant temple, the Archaeological Museum of Audun-le-Tiche presents the collections of the Pays-Haut Mosellan.
There you will discover the most beautiful pieces from the excavations of the Merovingian necropolis of Audun-le-Tiche (listed as a Historic Monument), but also a remarkable collection of Gallo-Roman statues also listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments (heads of Minerva and Sirona, Jupiter Cavalier with an Anguipede, Apollo, etc.).
Finally, you will be able to admire a unique piece with strong symbolism: the Latin cross pattée, listed as a Historic Monument.
With an exhibition of more than 300m² spread across 6 rooms including a projection, you will travel through the eras from the Paleolithic to the witchcraft trials of the 16th century or even the founding of the famous Boch earthenware factory in Audun-le-Tiche in 1748.
