"Twenty-one years in prison and a decisive encounter in a jail in his native Lorraine with a former French football idol, Tony Vairelles. The life of Thierry Coignard (TC, his stage name) is nothing like that of a classic comedian. At 53, a third of which has been spent in prison, and encouraged by his famous cellmate. She has atrophied the calibers of her childhood idol, Public Enemy Number 1, Jacques Mesrine. For the letters of Victor Hugo, whose hand he "would happily shake today." With a unique way of transforming the harshness of prison into humor and not derision. TC devotes his first one-man show to the bygone life of a convict, with his sense of observation, his gift of the gab, and his atypical personality. He tells his stories and encounters with poetry and a striking perspective through a very structured and well-crafted show that he has honed in Lorraine's performance halls.
