The Dräi Eechelen Museum is participating for the first time in the Biennial of the European Month of Photography by showcasing an original project by Luxembourgish artist Yann Tonnar as part of its 10th edition. This project comprises a series of composite images inspired by the nine lithographs of Jean-Baptiste Fresez (1800-1867), published in 1828-1829 under the title 'Vues de Luxembourg'. These emblematic panoramas of Luxembourg City have etched themselves into the collective unconscious, evoking a nostalgic and romantic image of the fortress era.
