At first glance, Paul is a perfectly normal eighteen-year-old. What no one knows: he's bipolar. He's powerless over his brain's radical mood swings. When a depressive episode ends in a suicide attempt, his single father, Hardy, is forced to admit him to a treatment center for adolescents with mental illness. At the clinic, Paul meets young people who are also struggling with mental health issues. He must make a choice: will he continue to run from his illness? Or will he trust those who love him so much that he's finally willing to accept their help? Paul chooses love and the realization that you don't have to go through mental illness alone. Because what truly sustains us is the courage to show your weaknesses and let those you love help you.
