The Tree That Hides the Forest (déi Wëll, déi lafen am Bësch) is an evolving poetic and political project exploring the place of trees in our society, as subjects, habitats, and ecosystems. This vast program, rooted in reality and imagination, aims to challenge our ways of thinking and reinvent our connection to the living, in order to collectively bring ecological actions to life in Luxembourg. It was conceptualized by Karine Paris, Magali Paulus, and Sophie Zuang of CELL, in collaboration with visual artist Justine Blau as part of LUGA - Luxembourg Urban Garden 2025.
SENSES WORKSHOP (SIGHT) “URBAN FOREST OBSERVATION WALK” with Karen Decker:
The angle of this walk will respond to several themes:
- What is the environment of the urban forest?
- Is the cared for space healthy?
- How does a tree behave in an urban space versus in a forest…
Walk in the Pétrusse Valley, starting from the garden. Snacks provided.
