The touring exhibition, presented at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette from March 8 to September 15, 2025, explores the life stories and experiences of approximately 7,000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp due to repression for political reasons. This bilingual presentation highlights the diversity of the social and national origins of these women and examines how resistance and persecution were shaped by traditional gender roles, through carefully selected biographies.
Good to know
The exhibition is presented bilingually in French and German. Weekly schedule: 10 AM to 6 PM (closed on Mondays).
