The traveling exhibition, presented from March 8 to September 15 at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, explores the lives and experiences of approximately 7000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp due to politically motivated repression. It highlights the diversity of the social and national origins of these women and the influence of traditional gender roles on resistance and persecution. The facets of resistance, detention, and survival are illustrated through selected biographies.
