The Kulturfabrik invites you to discover a work phase of William Cardoso's new choreographic creation "Deadline," presented on June 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the end of the two-week research residency at the Kulturfabrik. The creation of the piece was informed by an exploratory dance workshop, open to all, organized at the beginning of the residency.
Through this collective research with the participants, William Cardoso continues his reflection on the theme of rupture and the importance of this notion in our society. During his residency, he further develops his choreographic language, which questions how the destruction of old systems of internal and societal functioning can be necessary for the emergence of a form of freedom leading to true renewal.
“Deadline” questions the need to break established frameworks – whether personal, spiritual or societal – to open the way to authentic freedom and profound transformation.
