False Movements | Monolabo | Creation By and with Serge Tonnar. Luxembourg performance. No false movements! That's what bandits shout during a heist. If someone told me that, I would instantly make an intentional false movement. My whole life is built on false movements. I don’t do what is expected of me. Often not even what I expect of myself. Most of the time, I do things I can't do at all. What I certainly cannot do is dance! I am too stiff, too old, and too corpulent. I have arthritis on both sides and no body memory. That’s why a solo dance is just the right choice for Monolabo, as Steve and I see it. For this performance, I start from my own body without any idea what might emerge. Except, of course, for false movements.

Emanuela Iacopini, Luka Tonnar, Yuko Kominami, Sabine Tonnar, MASKéNADA.

Requiem for a Clown | Creation By Antoine Colla. With Rhiannon Morgan, Luxembourg, in French. Theatre. "Requiem for a Clown" questions the existential void that traverses us all at some point in life. The piece unfolds as an abstract interaction between a woman, a cradle, and the voices of her childhood and lost wonder. On one side, she reveals her inner emptiness and fear of a valueless routine existence. On the other, she resists surrender, struggles, plays music, screams, stirs, provokes. She tries to reconnect with the inner clown that refuses to be forgotten. Through words, movement, and music, they confront each other, unaware of what they are searching for, knowing that what emerges between them will shape the colors of the rest of their lives.

Antoine Colla, Servane Io Le Moller, Sophie Van den Keybus, Danai Tezapsidou, Diane Demanet Tanios, Fundamental, Théâtre du Centaure.
