It's an unforgettable journey through the Paris of the 1950s, following a boy who one day finds a beautiful red balloon that will arouse envy. By adorning this masterpiece by Albert Lamorisse with baroque instruments, Étienne Meyer, a composer passionate about cinema, aimed to highlight the tender narrative. Combining the viol of gamba, percussion, theorbo, cornett, and recorder, he delivers an ethereal score with crystalline and poetic tones that awakens the child dwelling within us.
