Scottie suffers from vertigo, which hinders his work as a police officer. Held responsible for the death of a colleague, he decides to leave the force. An old acquaintance contacts him to follow his wife, who he believes is possessed by her ancestor's spirit. Scottie falls for the young woman and finds himself swept away by events beyond his control...
