A Christmas evening, from the time of Johann Sebastian Bach: such is the promise of the Ensemble Café Zimmermann, conducted by Pablo Valetti and named after Gottfried Zimmermann's establishment where the 'Cantor of Leipzig' used to frequent. A few years earlier, his contemporary Georg Philipp Telemann also marked the city's history. By combining their Christmas cantatas with a bouquet of instrumental pieces, the Café Zimmermann will brighten the year's end with the collaboration of soprano Núria Rial, a distinguished interpreter of this repertoire where spirituality and musical grace merge.
