After the success of Waking World and her quartet tour, Youn Sun Nah returns with a new album and a piano-voice duo tour.
Through a selection of covers, Elles pays tribute to women's voices and in particular to some of the singers who have marked Youn Sun Nah's career, from Nina Simone to Roberta Flack, including Björk and Edith Piaf, across eras and musical boundaries.
Recorded for the first time as a keyboard-voice duo with American pianist Jon Cowherd, this new album will be performed on stage with one of France's finest pianists, who has been particularly well-known in recent years during his numerous solo performances and with Michel Portal, whose latest albums he produced: Bojan Z.
A series of duets with an intimate feel, but carried by artists always in the mood to reveal their every rough edge, a promise of beautiful, colorful escapes.
