The traveling exhibition, hosted at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, delves into the life stories and experiences of approximately 7000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp for political reasons. It highlights the diversity of these women's social and national backgrounds as well as the impact of traditional gender roles on resistance and persecution. Narratives include selected biographies that illustrate various aspects of resistance, detention, and survival.
