Discover the Archaeological Museum of Audun-le-Tiche!
Discover the Archaeological Museum of Audun-le-Tiche, housed in a former deconsecrated Protestant temple. This museum highlights the heritage of the Moselle Pays-Haut region.
You can admire an exceptional selection of artifacts from the Merovingian necropolis of Audun-le-Tiche, listed as a Historic Monument, as well as a remarkable collection of Gallo-Roman statues also listed as Historic Monuments. Among the items are heads of deities such as Minerva, Sirona, Jupiter, and Apollo.
A unique and highly symbolic piece complements these treasures: the Latin cross of Audun-le-Tiche, also classified as a "Monument Historique."
With over 300 m² of exhibition space spread across six rooms, including a video projection, discover a journey through time from the Paleolithic era to the witch trials of the 16th century and the foundation of the renowned Boch earthenware factory in Audun-le-Tiche in 1748.
