Storms, passions and reveries
With our concert "Storms, Passions and Reveries" we explore a well-known theme in our region: rain and storm. A work from the famous "Sturm und Drang" movement cannot be missing, and with W. A. Mozart's "Linz" symphony, we will perform one of the great masterpieces of this period. Compositions such as "La Tempesta di Mare" by A. Vivaldi, with Sonja Dörner (transverse flute) as soloist, and "Der Sturm" by J. Haydn, our concert theme takes on an intensive and dramatic role, to find its calm in excerpts from another work by Haydn: "The Creation."
