Kittens, pirouettes, and digital nightmares. In his new creation, choreographer Angelo Petracca explores the chilling horror that arises when technology creeps too close to reality. Set at the edges of the uncanny valley, the piece delicately balances on the fragile boundary between hyper-cuteness and the grotesque. Drawing inspiration from kawaii aesthetics, digital subcultures, and sci-fi imagery, "Kittens" weaves a haunting emotional landscape where artificially controlled bodies and distorted gestures evoke both attraction and unease. A performance that exposes the darker facets of technological progress and the ambiguity of a future where the human and the artificial increasingly intertwine.
