Also called Bundle Dye, eco-printing is a variation of plant dyeing that involves freezing the imprint of the plant (fresh or dry) directly onto the fabric and allowing the initial shape of a petal or leaf to be imprinted into the fiber after a steam bath. This application of natural dyeing is also an ecological practice that requires few plants and reflects local or seasonal vegetation.
During the cooking time, participants will be able to discover the tataki zomé technique and practice it on fabric samples.
Participants may bring additional support, flowers and foliage if they wish.
