Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant and his friends host a 'Dinner Game.' The concept is simple: each participant brings a 'chump,' and the one whose guest stands out the most is proclaimed the winner. Tonight, Pierre is excited as he believes he has found a rare gem: François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance passionate about matchstick models. However, he is unaware that Pignon, willing to assist in any way, is a master of triggering mishaps, leading to an encounter of two fates that should never have crossed.
