Ever wanted to try stand-up comedy but didn’t know where to start? This beginner’s 3-day course helps participants start their journey as a stand-up comedian. Over three interactive sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of joke writing, performance techniques, and improvisation—all in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Under the guidance and coaching of seasoned comedian Dan Belkin, you’ll transform your ideas and stories into a stand-up set and step onto the stage on Saturday evening to perform for a supportive audience. Whether you're looking to conquer stage fright, sharpen your wit, or just have fun, this course will give you the tools to take your first comedy set to the stage. You will also develop personal and professional skills like public speaking, storytelling, and improvisational thinking.
