Gaspard Koenig Conference – "The End of the Individual, an Investigation into AI"
As part of its cultural quarter, Vauban is pleased to welcome the philosopher Gaspard Koenig.
Philosopher and writer, lover of freedom and nature, Gaspard Koenig confronts theory with practice during reports, travels, political campaigns or the practice of gardening. He has published around fifteen works including, with Editions de L'Observatoire: The End of the Individual, an investigation into artificial intelligence (2019); Our Vagabond Freedom (2021), an account of a five-month ride across Europe in the footsteps of Montaigne; Humus (2023, Prix Interallié), a coming-of-age novel with a backdrop of earthworms; Agrophilosophie (2024), an essay exploring the relationship between thought and the earth.
After a conference for high school students in the afternoon, Gaspard Koenig will give a conference in the evening, open to the general public.
The Ernster bookstore will be present and will allow you to purchase the philosopher's works.
