The author from Metz presents and signs his latest book "Ces féroces soldats" published in 2024 by Buchet-Chastel. A sensitive tribute to the "Malgré-Nous," this biographical and historical work retraces the tumultuous story of the author's parents in the absurd cruelty of war. His father was seventeen when he was forcibly sent to the front in enemy uniform to fight in Eastern Europe. In this book, the son-turned-writer attempts to reconstruct a family narrative filled with blanks and silences.
