Your ideas, your region, your EU
What does Europe look like when it grows from the ground up? This campaign starts from a simple premise: the EU is present in everyday life everywhere, not just in the capitals and decision-making centers. From agriculture and environmental protection to mobility and local development, the EU plays a role in many aspects of rural life. And rural communities aren’t just benefiting from EU action – they are actively helping shape Europe’s present and future.
Over the coming weeks, the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg together with the municipalities will host a series of creative workshops in different communes across the country. These workshops are open spaces for dialogue, expression, collaboration and co-creation. Participants will be invited to share their ideas, stories, and vision for Europe as experienced in villages and small towns, and to explore how these can be translated into visual messages. The results of these workshops will then be transformed into wall graffiti by the street art collective Kamellebuttek. No prior artistic experience is needed—what matters is your perspective and your willingness to take part!
