Three days to discover contemporary publishing in Metz, meet creators and explore graphic trends.
The École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine - Metz site hosts the 6th edition of the Biennale Exemplaires, dedicated to contemporary forms and practices of publishing. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the world of graphic design, artist's books, and new editorial practices through exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and festive moments.

Exhibition “Examples”: selection of remarkable works and original editions produced by students from 14 art schools.
Opening: Thursday, March 26, 2026 at ESAL.
International symposium and mini-conferences:
- Half-day of mini-conferences led by the 14 working groups from the art schools.
- Day of round tables with 7 speakers: historians, researchers, designers, artists.
Some events require payment (included in the Biennale Pass).
