Temporary Exhibition and Guided Tours "Wiele wat mir sinn"
For over a century, democratic elections have shaped the political history of Luxembourg. The temporary exhibition "Wiele wat mir sinn" (Elect who we are), organised by Zentrum fir politesch Bildung (ZpB) and the Chamber of Deputies, invites the public to learn more about elections, political participation, and democratic engagement in Luxembourg.
Through historical facts and concrete examples, the exhibition traces the evolution of democracy in Luxembourg, from the 19th century to the present day. It focuses on voting rights: the census suffrage before 1918, the introduction of universal suffrage, and the ongoing societal debates surrounding elections. The exhibition covers the workings of institutions and electoral processes, as well as topics such as identity, belonging, and responsibility within a pluralist democracy.
