Guided Tours by David Merat, Curator of the Musée des Mines de Neufchef
The Maison de la Nature et du Tourisme of the CCCE presents its first temporary exhibition, entitled "Les Mines, des Vies pour le Fer", in partnership with the Musée des Mines de Fer de Neufchef. Discover the world of Moselle's miners, who for decades extracted minette, the Lorraine iron ore deposited by the sea millions of years ago.
A fascinating journey into industrial and human history! Through conferences and guided tours, learn how iron mining shaped the region, its industrial landscape, and changed the lives of hundreds of people.
