Apérolittéraire - Jean VODAINE
We are pleased to offer you our new Literary Happy Hour featuring local poet Jean VODAINE
A self-taught artist who has poetry translated at his fingertips.
Since September 2025, our team has been consulting the books and publications of Jean Vodaine, a working-class poet of Slovenian origin, printer, typographer, and painter from the Moselle region, in the archives of local libraries. A poet and storyteller, he offers, among other things, an original perspective on the settlement of populations from Eastern Europe who came to work in the blast furnaces.
"A literary aperitif is an interactive and convivial reading-performance that allows you to discover the world of an author through texts, songs and biographical elements; where the audience mingles with the narrators; where above all emotions are shared..."
