The pelvic floor is a muscle often unknown to many, as it is hidden. Its central importance for quality of life and body awareness is sometimes underestimated. Targeted training is essential for it to fulfill its many functions (posture, support of internal organs, continence, sexual sensation) even into old age. Course leader and health coach Heidi Willems explains how to regularly perform pelvic floor exercises, both sitting and standing, and how to integrate them into daily life. Guidance is also provided on healthy hydration habits and improving body awareness.
