Performance - Working On The Imaginary Object

Natalie Brück is a performance artist who works at the intersection of language, text, and movement. Her works have been presented in Germany and internationally and focus on the interaction between individuals and the structures that emerge from collective action. Working On The Imaginary Object is an ongoing series of works in which participants work with objects that exist only in the imagination. Through movement, coordination, and attention, a shared point of reference is constructed. Collective action is essential, while still allowing each participant the opportunity to contribute their own representations. At Casino Luxembourg, Brück is realizing this project in the form of an intensive week-long workshop, followed by a live performance. The performance emerges from this collective process and takes the form of a choreography that is constructed in the moment of its presentation.
