Florian Valerius, a bookseller for over 20 years, launched the Instagram account @literarischernerd in 2016, which earned him the first Buchblog-Award. He is one of the best-known and most successful book bloggers in Germany. From 2019 to 2021, he served on the jury of the German Publishers Award, and in 2023, he was a jury member for the German Book Prize.
