At the Château de Malbrouck, summer is celebrated with a series of festive and cultural themed days! Join for a picturesque day dedicated to the Middle Ages. At 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3 p.m., enjoy the show "Les Combattants" by Compagnie Loothari regnum. This event features foot tournaments inspired by the rules of medieval duels. Buhurt is a combat sport where two teams of five armored fighters face off, aiming to bring down the opposing team. A discovery space around buhurt includes armored combat demonstrations, soft buhurt initiations, fun workshops for children, and armored performers strolling through the event. At 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., Compagnie Eutrapélia presents the children's show "Fabliau vous conterai": genuine medieval fabliaux told in a lively and comedic style. Cowardly knights, manipulative wives, clever peasants, mediocre jugglers, cantankerous villains, or a tricked devil— the performers embody various roles to tell these stories, poking fun at nobility and commoners alike.
