Tonight, noise is a mother tongue. Born from the long dark winters of Norway, Årabrot was too dark for metal and too avant-garde for punk, so the band paved its own way. Årabrot offers a turbulent journey through energetic goth-tinged rock. A supergroup in every sense of the word. BUÑUEL brings together the sharp voice and biting lyrics of Eugene S. Robinson (OXBOW) with a powerful European trio: guitarist Xabier Iriondo (AFTERHOURS, A SHORT APNEA), bassist David Haemery (SORDIDE), and drummer Frank Valente (IL TEATRO DEGLI ORRORI). Post-hardcore, avant-noise, hard blues, post-industrial, symphonic thrash, metal, free jazz — it’s all there. BUÑUEL deconstructs, distorts, and stretches towards discomfort and surrealism until total abandonment. Formed in 2013, INTERCOURSE stands out by aiming to purge noise rock of its pretension and merge it with the raw urgency of hardcore. The band has released an album per year since 2014, performed with WHORES, DEADGUY, and CHAT PILE, and has been covered by Decibel, Lambgoat, and New Noise Magazine. Noise rock. Hardcore.
