Blues Against the Machine

Take five leading European blues rock artists, who have been touring the European blues stages for over twenty years, and bring them together in a single band. The result is a passionate ensemble, driven by the desire to go further. In a short time, these five experienced musicians have managed to assert a strong identity, each contributing to the creation of a powerful album produced by Budda Guedes. The band features excellent musicians: Budda Guedes (Portugal) on vocals and guitar; Bart Szopinski (Poland) on piano, Hammond organ and vocals; Danny del Toro (Spain) on harmonica and vocals; Vasco Moura (Portugal) on bass and vocals; and Nik Taccori (Italy) on drums and vocals. The result: a tight, cohesive and incredibly effective group, able to take the audience on an explosive mix of blues, jump, boogie, and rock’n’roll. Bringing together a real blend of cultures, creativity and stories rooted firmly in the tradition of the blues, this project innovates while respecting its roots.
