The second edition of the Metz Ex-Libris Book Fair will take place during the European Heritage Days, on the theme of endangered heritage. The Récollets cloister and the Chapter House will welcome around thirty professional booksellers from Alsace, mainland France, as well as Belgium and England. They will be gathered across 200 m² in the Récollets cloister, in the heart of old Metz. There, you will find antique and second-hand books, manuscripts, prints, engravings, comic books, postcards, advertising, collector’s and film posters, drawings, photographs, records... A workshop dedicated to the arts and crafts of bookmaking will be held at the Récollets. The secrets of bookbinding, restoration and dominoté paper-making will be revealed to the general public. This workshop is part of the week dedicated to endangered heritage.
