Theater at the Quai

Show & Culture

The Etudi'Art association from Metz will be at the Quai to present its annual theatrical work. A creation in two parts. AUTRE CHAMBRE, a literary evocation of contamination by HIV. A text written by Didier Doumergue, which evokes his own story set in a time when a certain form of sexual and societal liberation came to a halt. Performed by Ethan Barragan-Matuszewski, Hélyos Rauscher, Kiara Lodo, Stella Bangana, Corentin Abadie, Manuel Kandonou and Koffi N’Danou. LE CORPS QUI PARLE SANS CESSE, a play by Koffi N’Danou, doctoral student at the Centre de Recherche sur les Expertises, les Arts et les Transitions. The play traces the journey of a man confronted with his own identity. Facing failure, he discovers that his body and face communicate constantly, beyond words. Performed by Ethan Barragan-Matuszewski and Hélyos Rauscher. Founded in 2021 in Metz and directed by Koffi N’Danou, the Etudi’Art association brings together students and theater enthusiasts around creations that value intercultural exchanges and question our times.
