Álvaro Lozano Cames, cello & Naoko Sonoda, piano Winner of the 4th Prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium 2026, the Spanish cellist Álvaro Lozano Cames is among the most remarkable young talents of his generation. Awarded at numerous international competitions before his success in Brussels, he impresses with the depth of his interpretation, the richness of his sound, and remarkable artistic maturity. Alongside him, pianist Naoko Sonoda forms a duo with great musical chemistry. Together, they present a rich program, featuring masterpieces by Beethoven and Schumann, the Spanish colors of Manuel de Falla and Gaspar Cassadó, as well as the expressive intensity of Mieczysław Weinberg.
